If I Must …

Someone once told me that one must do what one can do…and one must be what one can be. Maybe that was something I read, or something that a good friend told me they had read, or…well, it doesn’t really matter, does it? That comment alone is a milestone for this overpowering analytical brain of mine that often precludes me from seeking what my soul ultimately desires: peace and fulfillment.

This initial posting is the first step in serving my fellow human being in whatever capacity I can by sharing what I’ve experienced in the healing arts. The emotional, spiritual, and physical pain that we negotiate on a daily basis becomes a bit overwhelming for those of us who live in a secular world gone mad at times. Here I am blaming my external environment again for getting the best of me…can you imagine that?

There is a simple explanation and that shall be explored in one of my future categories called “Yang Girly Girl.” You see, I am an extremely grounded, heterosexual female that desires nothing more than to float on the fringe of my third eye chakra, resulting in behavior that often warrants a prescription for bi-polar disorder. This category is for those who need a good laugh, or cry, about the dysfunctionalities of families, jobs, governments, pets, the media, cable boxes, fast rising yeast…well, you get the picture. Being a Yang girlie girl means that I need a forum to release the laughing Buddha in me; and, believe me, I do laugh at just about everything.

The other side of this dichotomy is the real reason why I’m here: to share experiences and thoughts about Meditation, Reiki, Homeopathy, Herbology, Wicca, Spirituality and Mysticism: this being my favorite troupe of dancers that sweep me into a divine waltz every time toward healing a body, a mind, a heart, and a soul. I hope you’ll dance with me, as we search for our own magnificence.

Thanks for being here.
